Empowering Your Business with Digital Excellence
Transforming Challenges into Opportunities
Changing Businesses 1 Partner at a Time
Glenn Murano
I started Southington Digital Solutions because I’ve been on the other side — running a small business, wearing all the hats, and figuring things out the hard way. I owned a bakery once, and while I loved the work, what really grabbed me was the website and marketing side. I built it all myself, and to my surprise… it worked. People found us. Sales picked up.
That experience showed me how powerful the digital world can be when it’s done right — especially for small businesses that don’t have time (or budget) to waste.
Now I help other business owners get that same feeling — the moment when things click, the phone rings, and your hard work finally starts showing results online.
I keep things simple, honest, and built around real growth. No jargon. No inflated promises. Just someone in your corner who actually gets it.
If you’re looking for a partner, not a pitch — I’d love to talk.

Our Mission at Southington Digital Solutions
My Story: From Power Plant to Digital Growth Partner
Before I ever built a website, ran an ad, or ranked someone on Google — I was working long shifts at a power plant. For 10 years, that was my life. It was steady, honest work, but somewhere along the line, I started feeling pulled in a different direction.
That pull started at a bakery I opened. What began as a small side project quickly became a full-blown operation, and like any small business owner, I had to figure out everything myself. That’s where I got my first taste of marketing. I built the website, ran the social media, and handled the online promotions — mostly because no one else could, and I didn’t have the money to outsource it.
Turns out, I loved it.
Late Nights and Early Lessons
Building that website wasn’t easy — especially trying to get eCommerce right. I’d spend full days at the bakery, then come home and stay up until 2 or 3 a.m. watching YouTube tutorials, reading marketing books, testing plugins, breaking stuff, fixing it, and doing it all over again. Everything I know now, I taught myself back then — out of necessity, not ambition. But the more I learned, the more it all started to click.
And it worked. The bakery’s website started pulling in customers. Our social media picked up traction. I wasn’t just baking anymore — I was marketing a brand, and that was the spark.

The Shift From Employee to Self Employed
While still working full-time at the plant, I started helping friends and local business owners do the same thing — build a site, clean up their social presence, maybe launch a few promos. Word spread. People saw results. And I realized something huge: this wasn’t just a side hustle — this was a real business.
Then came the big shift — the power plant closed.
For a lot of people, that moment would’ve been terrifying. For me, it was a strange kind of relief. I finally had the time to double down on what I had been building quietly behind the scenes.
I treated the next year like my own personal digital bootcamp — 8 hours a day, every day, learning everything I could about digital marketing, SEO, branding, AI, modern website design, you name it. I studied, experimented, and implemented those strategies with the businesses I was already helping. And the results? Growth — for them, and for me.
Southington Digital Solutions Is Born
That’s when Southington Digital Solutions became official. What started as a few favors for local businesses turned into a full-time agency built on experience, grit, and a deep respect for the grind that business owners go through every day.
Now, I serve over 100 local businesses throughout Connecticut and the surrounding states. And I haven’t stopped learning. Every day, I try to pick up something new — whether it’s a shift in Google’s algorithm, a new AI tool, or a better way to structure a website for conversions. Because if I’m not improving, I’m not serving my clients the way they deserve.
Why It Works
Here’s the thing: I don’t just sell a service. I partner with businesses. I become part of the team. I care if the phone rings. I care if the site converts. And I work with people who care just as much. I’m selective — not because I want to be exclusive, but because I want to work with people who are ready to grow and willing to put in the work alongside me.
When you work with me, you’re not getting a sales funnel or a one-size-fits-all package. You’re getting a relationship — built on mutual respect, shared goals, and a whole lot of strategy, sweat, and straight talk.
Because that’s what got me here. And that’s what keeps this agency growing.
My Core Values
Honesty
I believe in being real with people. No fluff, no inflated promises — just the truth about what’s working, what’s not, and what it’ll take to grow. When you work with me, you’ll always know where things stand and what I’m doing to move the needle.
Communication
Clear, open communication is everything. I make it a priority to stay accessible, explain things in plain English, and actually listen. Whether we’re troubleshooting a tech issue or brainstorming a new idea, I’ll always make sure we’re on the same page.
Long-Term Partnerships
I don’t just take on projects — I build partnerships. I work best with clients who care about their business as much as I care about mine. We show up, together, with the same goal: long-term growth. When we both put in the effort, great things happen.
Embracing the Future
Innovative Digital Solutions
We still believe in the power of traditional marketing — because the basics still work. Great branding, clear messaging, a solid reputation, and showing up consistently in your local community… those things matter, and they always will. But today’s world moves fast, and standing still isn’t an option. That’s why we use the best of what worked then as a foundation — not a crutch.
At Southington Digital Solutions, we blend that foundation with the tools that work now. We design websites built to convert, optimize content to rank where it counts, and manage online presence in a way that reflects how your customers are actually searching. Whether it’s SEO, social content, or strategy — we focus on what works today, not what sounded good five years ago.
And we’re already building for what’s next. AI tools, voice search, chat-based engines, and new ways people interact with businesses online — that’s not theory, that’s here. I make it a point to learn something new every single day so I can bring my clients the edge they need to grow. That means testing, adapting, and constantly staying curious — because being future-ready isn’t optional, it’s the standard.
