Payment Terms and Late Fee Policy

Effective Date: June 1, 2025

At Southington Digital Solutions, we strive to provide excellent service with clear expectations and transparency. In order to maintain efficient operations and mutual accountability, the following payment policy applies to all client relationships and projects effective June 1, 2025.

1. Invoice Terms

  • All invoices include a specific due date, and payment is due in full by that date.
  • These terms apply to all service agreements, including one-time projects, ongoing retainers, hosting, support plans, and recurring digital marketing services.

2. Grace Period

  • A five (5) calendar day grace period will be extended beyond the stated invoice due date.
  • No penalties or late fees will apply during the grace period.
  • Communication regarding payment delays is encouraged within this window.

3. Late Fees

  • Payments not received within 5 days of the due date will incur a $35 late fee.
  • Additional late fees of $35 per 30-day period may accrue on unpaid balances beyond the initial late period.

4. Service Suspension

  • If payment remains outstanding 10 days past the due date, Southington Digital Solutions reserves the right to pause active services until the balance is paid in full.
  • Affected services may include—but are not limited to—SEO campaigns, social media posting, hosting access, website updates, or ongoing marketing activities.

5. Reconnection Fee

  • A $75 reconnection fee will be applied to re-enable any suspended services once the overdue balance is cleared.
  • The reconnection fee and all past due amounts must be paid in full before services resume.

6. Payment Methods

  • We accept payment via credit card, ACH, or other agreed-upon electronic methods.
  • Clients are encouraged to keep a valid payment method on file to avoid service interruptions and manual delays.

7. Non-Payment and Collections

  • Failure to pay an outstanding balance within 30 days of the original due date may result in referral to a collections agency or legal action.
  • Southington Digital Solutions reserves the right to recover reasonable costs incurred in the collection of unpaid debts, including administrative, legal, and recovery fees.

8. Policy Acceptance

  • By continuing to use our services on or after June 1, 2025, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this policy.
  • These terms apply to all clients, whether the agreement is verbal, written, or implied through service delivery.
